Left Breast Cancer Model, Life-like

Full size model is made of durable lifelike material with embedded lumps that simulate fibrocystic mass and typical tumor. Model also contains a lactiferous duct. Back side of education card shows locations of irregular masses. Base art shows common self-inspection patterns.

I highly recommend breast simulator demonstrations

The ability for the audience members to touch the simulator provided a more realistic experience of how an abnormality would feel during their own breast self examinations. Many were surprised that they were not doing their own self exams correctly. I highly recommend breast simulator demonstrations be made more available to all women during their doctor visits.

I am so glad that

I am so glad that I was able to get the simulator on time for the presentation. All of the participants were eager to touch and feel the differences between a tumor, a plugged milk duct and the fibrocystic mass. Their simulated breast exams became real time experiences for some. It gave them a realistic example of what they are feeling for in their examinations and the necessity of breast self examinations. All women should have the experience of using a breast simulator as a life-saving tool. I was fortunate to use a breast simulator a year before I discovered my own tumor. I am now living 13 years cancer free.
